Austin B. Butts focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Guardianships, Probate, Business Entities, Real Estate and Bankruptcy matters. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Economics and a Minor in Business Administration in Economics from Texas A&M University. While at A&M, Austin participated in the Texas A&M Economics Society and the Student Officials Association.
While in law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Austin participated in the Energy and Resources Law Student organization and was on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Austin is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
Before joining the Pratt Law Group, PLLC in April 2016, Austin worked for a small law boutique firm concentrating his practice on general litigation and transactional matters.
Austin enjoys working with clients in assisting them with their estate planning, guardianship, real estate and bankruptcy matters. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the North Texas and Dallas Estate Planning Councils, and the National Association of Estate Planning Attorneys. Mr. Butts is admitted to practice law in all courts by the Texas Supreme Court and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Austin and his wife, Christina, are faithful members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, where they both sing in the choir and Austin serves as a Deacon.
